NON-COMPACTION OF THE VENTRICULAR MIOCARDIUM ASSOCIATED WITH EBSTEIN´S ANOMALY: A CLINICAL CASE REPORT

Abstract
There are multiple causes of heart failure, some more common than others. In some of these pathologies causing heart failure, the diagnosis is usually overlooked if auxiliary imaging tools such as echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance are not available, such as left ventricular non-compaction. This is a disorder caused by arrest in the compaction of myocardium during the embryonic period, and may be associated with other congenital heart diseases. In this case we present an uncommon association: left ventricular non-compaction with Ebstein's anomaly.
