Acute myocardial infarction and Covid-19. Reporte de caso
Main Article Content
Abstract
Several types of cardiovascular complications of coronavirus disease-2019 have been described, derived from the systemic proinflammatory state. One of them is acute myocardial infarction, whose hospitalization rates have decreased as a result of the coronavirus disease-2019 pandemic, and whose management in patients with coronavirus disease-2019 is controversial. I present the case of a 68-year-old man with coronavirus disease-2019 and acute myocardial infarction without ST-segment elevation, complicated with respiratory failure and shock due to both diseases.
